So you feel a little unsure of how to apply Rootflage? Don't worry grasshopper, it is actually really easy. We will break it down for you here.

• The kabuki brush is great if you have a large area to cover. The powder comes through the hole in the center of the brush. Just dab it onto your roots and basically smush and rub it around until you roots are covered. If you don't feel comfortable using the brush that way because you just don't trust it, then you can unscrew the brush and dip a corner of it into the powder. Or if you are looking for a much more precise application you can take a detail brush and dip that in the powder instead. Rootflage sells a detail brush, or you can use one that you already own. This is great if you are applying near your face.

• Whether using a wide or narrow brush, start applying from the back of your root area first and then work your way towards your face. This gives you a chance to get a hang of it as you apply.
• For a natural look try not to apply to your scalp. Another suggestion is to hold your hair flat down when you apply so you can see your roots really well, then you can see where to apply.
